Recent Activities
CAWE contributes significantly to environmental education and public engagement by creating awareness and sensitizing the public through the celebration of key United Nations international days. This is achieved through the organization of public lectures, workshops, seminars, and webinars aimed at promoting knowledge, fostering dialogue, and encouraging active participation in addressing environmental challenges such as climate change, desertification, and biodiversity loss.
Recently held a radio programme to commemorate and create awareness on the importance of Bees on 2026 World Bee Day.
Participated in a high-level stakeholders’ workshop on the TIME2GRAZE Project, organized by the Nigerian Conservation Foundation in Abuja on 17 March 2026.
Organized a public lecture to commemorate the 2026 World Wetlands Day.
